Winter is finally over. The weather is settling, the sun is out after a week of grey skies — and there’s really no better excuse to get on the bike.
ACC Munich Cycling Club invites you to join our 2026 Spring Coffee Ride. No pace requirement, no pressure, no rankings. Whether you’ve been riding with us for years or this is your first time — you’re welcome here.
We roll out from Munich Zoo, through the shaded paths of Perlacher Forst and out of the city. Past fields of blooming rapeseed, up to Ludwigshöhe for a view of the Alps, and around the ancient Kloster Schäftlarn — after the last climb, Gasthaus zum Brückenfischer is waiting for us by the river. Cake, coffee, cold beer. The ride ends, the social begins. This one’s worth savouring from start to finish.

🏁 Getting Back to Munich
After the Biergarten, you have two options for the return:
- S-Bahn — Ride to Hohenschäftlarn S-Bahn station (82069 Schäftlarn) nearby, and take the S7 back to central Munich. A relaxed end to the day.
- Ride back — Prefer to pedal home? The return route on Komoot follows the Isar canal all the way back to the Munich Zoo starting point.
