ACC North Afterwork Ride

Winter break · Registration closed

From our season opener in April to these final autumn rides, the ACC 2026 cycling season is coming to an end. We organised 67 events, of which 57 went ahead, bringing together more than 260 rider participations: relaxed lakeside rides, twice-weekly After Work outings, mountain Epic Rides and the Eaglet training camp.

For After Work, the memories are in those ordinary weekday evenings: closing the laptop, changing into cycling kit and meeting familiar faces at the start; sharing a ride in the evening breeze, catching up and leaving the working day behind. Thank you to every rider who turned up and looked out for others, and to our ride leaders for being there week after week. You made those after-work hours a part of the season we will remember.

As winter approaches, temperatures are falling, roads are more often damp and darkness arrives much earlier. The light and road conditions after work are no longer suitable for our weekday rides. Both the North and South After Work rides are now on winter break, registration is closed, and we mark the end of the ACC 2026 cycling season.

Thank you to every new and familiar friend who shared the road with us this year. We will carry the evening breeze, the laughter and the miles together into the winter, and look forward to riding together when spring returns.

See you in 2027! We will announce the new season and reopening of registration once the plans are confirmed.
